Re: AMS pump such a problem?

Re: Bicycle riding

For the first few weeks I wore a tight jockstrap just to keep everything high and tight, but moved back to regular compression shorts pretty quickly.

Re: Bicycle riding

Jage, are you on Strava? No, I'm not. A buddy and I ride the same 18+ mile route 3 times a week. It bores him to tears, but I'm a creature of habit and like that it's mostly not on roads where idiot drivers can maim or kill me without a second thought. Re: Bicycle riding

I ride ~60 miles a week, and have been with my AMS CX for the past 11 months or so. No issues with my saddle or device when riding. Re: Implanted 3-20-24 Dr Clavell

Before you know it you'll be a year out and you'll wonder where the time went.... ;) Congrats, it just gets better and better every day. I'm one of the lucky ones, I only took Tylenol and Advil for a couple of days, had no bruising and was released to use it as designed at 4 weeks. IMO you chose one...

Re: Over pumping AMS 700CX

Post op I could pump 100x and never get the 'marble' I read about so often on FT. I was worried. I contacted Dr. Clavell and asked him if there was a bypass valve I was engaging, there is no bypass valve. His counsel was to just continue cycling and things would settle in. Probably 2 mos. post op I...

Re: Does your spouse pump it?

she has, she can, but it sort of takes us both out of the moment. I can do it one handed with ease so it's my job.

Re: Firmness Question?

my vote is you're just losing hand strength... ;)

Do you get to the same hardness on the pump you once did? Does it 'marble' and you feel the cylinders are not as stiff?
