Re: So much discontent PPI size
I agree that there is still some room for improvement. I have posted in the past that there is 3 kinds of size loss. Pre op in loss of size due to loss of erections and atrophy. During surgery due to conservative sizing. And post op due to long activation wait times causing a coffin effect. My local...

Re: is it a case of 'sticky pump'

No AMS representative is going to come to my rescue--i have to handle this myself. Coud you pl e...

Re: is it a case of 'sticky pump'
Pumps are self lubricating. That means they need to be used to keep from sticking. Heat also helps with this to make it work as it should. Heat will soften the bulb and also aid in the valves switching. If you are still having trouble with heat, then call your AMS rep for help. They have other reset...

Re: Cylinder tips significantly uneven
Yeah its about making a new path. The problem currently is that scar tissue has formed and its very difficult to create new scar tissue. Eid said that (early on anyway) he could try and bend the penis back and forth vigorously or something to break the scar tissue - but its very hard to do. I never...

Re: Cylinder tips significantly uneven
This is great advice! I like the mop bucket analogy ... i can actually force it to move and it does make a bit of difference, but not a lot. Its a shame cos its wasnt that bad right after surgery so I should have done this back then in order to stop it progressing, but alas, I am too far gone I thi...

Re: Cylinder tips significantly uneven
As a proximal perforation is inside your body a sling repair (stirrup) is made with suture material, The RTE end of the cylinder has suture thread attached to it by using the suture needle to pass through the solid end. Then the other end on the suture is tied up close to the incision to support the...

Re: Cylinder tips significantly uneven
Hey newbie443, I am very interested in your story. I have the exact same issue. Your image showing one tip right up at the edge of the glans... along with a bulge and overall crooked glans. It looks like my tip will pop out of the side of my glans one day! But Eid insists it is purely cosmetic... t...

Re: High volume Surgeon ?????
I have been reading on "Only use a high volume surgeon". How can one verify if a surgeon is a High Volume Surgeon? Yes, they may answer YES. If a surgeon does 100 or so PTs a year, how can that be verified? Is there a Google question? I don't think the doctor will share his surgery list, ...

Re: Lifespan of IPP
What's the longest you've had an IPP before the need for revision? Trying to gauge a ballpark estimate of what to realistically expect regarding the lifespan of an IPP. Thanks, F1 I did have a sling repair for a proximal perforation, but I have all my original device components. They will be 6 year...

Re: AMS 700 MS pump is hard as a rock
Heat! This will not only soften the bulb but also help the valves in the block switch easier and more completely. As posted after a few while it will break in and get where you will no longer need heat.
