Re: What to tell my employer & colleagues re the time off work?
Zac, Thanks. Aside from perhaps little larger bulge in my pants I don't anticipate needing any special accommodation. I won't wear boxer shorts of course, only briefs. My only concern is the tendency to reinflate after emptying the cylinders even though I am squeezing my penis shaft. Anyway I still ...

The Deed is Done.
Hi Fellas, On the other side now. Three days post op. Proud owner of an AMS LGX. No length loss… so far. Dr Karpman is awesome. One thing that was a bit odd was at the pre op appointment he changed his mind and recommended the CX. Not the LGX. I was surprised and my heart sank. I said: "sure wh...

Re: What to tell my employer & colleagues re the time off work?
I was going to use the hernia alibi too.. (actually to repair a hernited umbilicus). I have had it for sometime and have even mentioned it to my co workers ( as you do). My plan was to coordinate both surgeries as closely as possible. Dr Karpman said: "hmm…no, not a good idea." So that was...

Surgery is this week
Well Gentlemen, Everything is a go for surgery with Dr Karpman. Started my antibiotic and Hibiclens soap both twice a day. Also taking a stool softener. Have eight days of recovery time off work. Not sweating it if I need a few more days though. Not anxious. Actually feels good knowing this ED burde...

Re: How long from visit to surgery
Hi Accident Mike, I am still early in the journey, as are you. I had my initial appointment with Dr Karpman on September 15th. I am scheduled for surgery the second week of November. I probably could have arranged it sooner, but I need that much time to make travel arrangements, get time off work etc.

Re: Surgery with Dr Karpman
That is the reason I want the LGX. And Dr Karpman. During my examination he indicated he may not be able to use the infra pubic approach on me due to the "dead space" (I think that is what he called it) and scar tissue from my previous enhancement surgeries. I don't want any more girth any...

Re: Surgery with Dr Karpman
Hey Badger, Hope all goes well. Keep us posted. I'm concerned about losing erect length from the surgery. I wonder if pumping, now until my surgery, will help me accommodate a longer implant by perhaps stretching things out a bit. I have a VacuTech pump and have used it for temporary girth purposes ...

Surgery with Dr Karpman
Hi All, As I mentioned in my Intro, I saw Dr. Karpman. He recommended the LGX. I am scheduled for the middle of November. Just need to do my EKG and get the blood work done. Christine at El Camino Urology called and said that my insurance does cover the implant. I also received a notice from Anthem ...

Re: New Member Intro
Thanks Dave. It was quite a blow. I really didn't even consider it. I knew nothing about IPPs. I came home from the appointment, started to feel a little sorry for myself. Then figured I would look up "IPP" and here I am. Thanks again. I also obtained a "second opinion" from Edwa...

Hello Gentlemen, 54 years old, single. Live in California. Using PDE5 inhibitors, (mainly cialis) for a number of years. I get erections but they are not consistently firm or long lasting. I am tired of physically and psychologically depending on these meds. I am in excellent health, except for my E...
