Re: prostate survivor and leaking now

I have 2 friends that have the AMS 800 artificial sphincter and love them!

One other guy uses an external catheter.

Several of us have gone to a pelvic floor specialist and ha good results.
Good luck!

To me it would be like having a foot that doesn't allow you to walk, causes you to be in pain, and is not repairable by surgery. You can't live life as you once did. You feel less of a man because you can't do the things you used to. You can live as is or have surgery to remove the foot. You will be...

Re: Coloplast vs My current AMS CS

Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
There are many pros and cons in both implants. You can read about many experiences with AMS and Colaplast.
It's what will work best with your anatomy.
Good luck with your surgery and recovery!

Re: My pre-op and LGX

Just for clarification you might ask about pump placement and orientation.
Is the incision going to be horizontal or vertical mid-line.
What is the plan of you need more then 18 cm?
Men's anatomy very, the measured length outside as well as inside.
Good luck with your surgery and recovery!
