Re: Revision Tomorrow: Titan One Touch

My surgery was December '17, see sig. Average usage is 2-3 times a week. After the first couple of months I never cycled, only pumped for sex, so that could have saved some wear and tear. Very happy with the Titan and would stay with it if a revision is necessary some day. Good luck with your revisi...

Re: Revision Tomorrow: Titan One Touch

I am converting from a Genesis pump to an One Touch pump. When you say "One Touch" pump is that the OTR pump or the Touch pump? I don't see a One Touch pump in the Coloplast catalog. I would go with the latest model, which is the Touch pump, and skip the OTR which is an older model (betwe...

Re: A disappointing setback

Kinda wish Kramer's office had looked into this earlier, not one week before the surgery, I hate to have to cancel on them last minute due to insurance issues (and having already booked flight, hotels). Is there any possibility you could put the charges on a couple of credit cards or other short te...

Re: Coloplast One Touch Pump versus Classic Pump

Be sure you and the doctor are talking about the same pumps. Coloplast lists three pumps, Titan, Titan OTR, and Titan Touch. The oldest model is the Titan which might be referred to as the Classic or Genesis pump. Next is the Titan OTR, maybe that's your One Touch. Newest is the Titan Touch. Good to...

Re: 2nd Coloplast failure in less than 2 year!

The bulb & tubing failed again last night. This time I was super careful when deflating/inflating. You are a young and athletic guy compared to a lot of us here. Are you engaging in any physical activities that might stress the implant? Possibly something like deep squats, horseback riding, mou...

Re: Just how painful should cycling be?

I'm wondering if I was undersized, or if I'm just being impatient. Lack of pain probably isn't the best way to determine if the implant is undersized. When you are inflated to the max is the glans supported and not floppy? Do the cylinder tips fit into the glans or do they end short of the glans? S...

Re: Post surgery attire for flight home

I believe you're seeing Dr Eid, right? If so you will leave surgery bandaged up and a heavy-duty jock strap over everything. I kept wearing that jock strap with cotton jockey shorts underneath for about a week. It's comfortable, very little bulge, and keeps everything tightly in place. I would sugge...

Re: help please

My implant was done with Medicare, but the total amount paid to Dr Eid & hospital was about $20k. If he accepts $20k with Medicare you should be able to negotiate a cash price of that or less. A patient with good private insurance could very well be charged considerably more. There's also a thre...

Re: Post op... not working... stuck valve?

About 10lbs of pressure between thumb and index finger is enough to pump, it shouldn't be that difficult.

Did you try the "Second Solution" on page 4 of the manual?

Re: Post op... not working... stuck valve?

I've read online about "stuck valve" issues. Do you guys think that's what's going-on? Did you try any of the solutions for " Pump bulb is hard and cannot be activated by the patient (Titan Touch) :" in the Titan manual? https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=5938
