Re: 27 year old, new member

Welcome to the forum, eme262. It would help us if you gave us some of your history in a signature (but please don't take this as a criticism, your question is well formed.) Your age, level of sexual history (lots of sex i the past or if you are fairly new to the activity, stuff like that - your age,...

Re: Can you get erections without medical assistance?...

Guys, watching a PBS show here. An elderly couple met up, and the female asked the male if he could get an erection without any medical assistance. You think the implant is considered 'medical assistance'? Ag There are probably a thousand (or at last a dozen) different answers to that. From GT1956'...

Re: How to Understand If Your Implant is Shorter Than It Could've Been

Are there wrinkles or folds in the implant's inflatable tubes that, when straightened out, would allow the tips to reach further up into your glans? You should be able (absent swelling or pain) to feel them, I think.

Re: colonoscopy & implant

When my (long-time) Dentist asked about recent surgeries, I said I had an implant.

He was puzzled until I told him what kind of implant (not a tooth)!

Re: Revision or repair

it is shocking the high number of premature failures of Titan. Damn Got stats for that? Anecdotal evidence is often misleading. And the type of failure is also important to consider. Dr. Eid told me (this was in 2017) that the failure rates were similar for AMS and Coloplast, but that the AMS infla...

Re: Impact of doctor on implant size?

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I wonder how much room there (literally) is for a surgeon to increase (or decrease) the size of the implant without having an impact on functionality. As far as I understand, the goal is to get the implant's cylinder into beginning of the glans without it rea...

Re: Impact of doctor on implant size?

3) What is the current consensus on best post-operative procedure for maintaining size? I read "we recommend leaving the implant inflated 60%–80% in the immediate postoperative setting for approximately 6 weeks", but I also read "during the first three months after the surgery the cy...

Re: Impact of doctor on implant size?

Luther, Welcome to FrankTalk. Dear FT members, I have three question: 1) Does the choice of surgeon has a great impact of the size of your implanted penis? Or is the difference between surgeons not as big, as long as it is an experienced "high volume" doctor? I had a pre-surgery consult la...

Re: How to Understand If Your Implant is Shorter Than It Could've Been

Edited to add: I just noticed that Sensei made the same observation I posted, but a hour before me. Hey, Patients face dramatic size loss when they're implanted the second time after an implant removal. I guess the reason for that is somehow related to what I meant while saying "the penis is no...
