Re: For those with an implant how many years has it lasted you with everyday use?
My first implant was the LGX and it lasted 3 years. My second implant was the CX it lasted for 4 years. I am waiting on a replacement right now. I used my implants every day and some days multiple times. The most I used it was about 4 times in one day. I put them through the test by using them.

Re: AMS 700 stopped working
Well, my CX implant failed on 1 February. It wouldn't deflate completely. I tried to squeeze the fluid out, it wouldn't release. I kept squeezing and it popped. I met with my doctor; he is contacting AMS to see what they say about replacing the complete implant. I told him that I wanted a Coloplast...

Re: AMS 700 stopped working
Mine failed also, but I've had one revision already. The only pain I had was from the IV on the revision. Good luck with your revision.

Re: What surgeons are willing to trim larger cylinders instead of using RTEs?
Well it is so true about the RTE’s having an effect on the angle of your erection. Mine was at 5 when pumped up. Also you could feel the wires because I had 5 cm of RTE’s. Well my CX has failed me so I am waiting to see my doctor. I am trying to find another urologist that will install a colopast. I...

Re: VED use after implant
I've been using the VED with my implant over the 8 years I've been implanted. The reason for my revision was because I went into the tube inflated and I had the LGX (tubes are not that strong). My wife loved the LGX because I used to pump it to the max. I make sure that I deflate before I use the VE...

Re: VED Protocol with implant
Cartman,
Sorry, I was out of the country. I keep my implant deflated while I pump. I use high pressure when I pump but I recommend that you do what is comfortable to you. I also jelq, inflated.

Re: VED Protocol with implant
Learn from my mistakes! I had the LGX first. I was inflating my LGX and then using the VED. I blew both cylinders. I have the CX, now I make sure that I am deflated before I use my VED. I get good results while deflated. I won't inflate my implant again to use my VED on my implant. I got a picture o...

Re: VED use POST implant surgery
Warning! Do not use a VED on an inflated implant. I did it with my first implant and blew both tubes out. I have been using my VED deflated since my revision to the CX since 2017 with no problems.
