So, a bit of an update.

Cigna has an “advocate” helping with the appeals process. Might hear something more next week. Boston Scientific has a type of patient support team that is a little helpful as well.

My doc said for me to do so before surgery, but was not keen post surgery.

I am in the same boat, but have the hourglass deformation as opposed to a curve. My doc seems confident the ams cx would work best for me. I wonder if anyone else has had good result: with the hourglass being resolved after getting the cx implanted?

So, Aetna, ultimately denied my implant procedure due to a wrong diagnosis code. That straight out screamed that they were looking at any way no to pay. My doc Dr. ( Le Roy Jones) was as confused as I was on their logic. Now I am back to square one with insurance since my employer switched to Cigna....
