Re: Surgery booked but I will hide It to girlfriend

Agree with those suggesting you be truthful with her. Outsiders, not really a big deal. Tell them whatever. If you are in a serious relationship or married I would opt for being truthful. When I first discussed it with my wife, she wasn't terribly supportive. When I explained I was doing it for myse...

Re: Pulling down on pump to help set it in good position

I had infrapubic install. Doc told me to leave it alone which I did. Everything healed nicely. Mine was also infrapubic. My doctor advised me to pull it down once or twice a day starting at 2 weeks post op, until My 6 week check-up. Everything healed up nicely. Do whatever your doctor suggests, IMO.

Re: Is 24k reasonable for an implant (consultation with Antonini)

There are a lot of good surgeons in the U.S. other than the ones constantly talked about on this board. Just do some research. I’m in Florida and was recommended a younger surgeon (maybe 38)who probably does 250 procedures a year. Based on my results I would put him up against any of the surgeons im...

Re: Re : Advice

Same here. My doctor had me start cycling after my two week check up. Also instructed me to pull down on device until my 6 week checkup, also good advice.. Now going on 6 months since surgery and every thing has worked great with no issues. Regarding instruction videos, YouTube has several.

Re: What was it like the first day of activation?

Doc said 6 weeks, but I tried it out at 4. Was still some numbness and then sore afterwards. No luck the first couple of tries, regarding orgasm, but by the third time, at 7 weeks or so, everything worked fine.

Re: Which Dr did you use and why? Did you travel?

Dr Richard Lotenfoe, Celebration, FL just south of Orlando, about 45 minutes drive for me. While not a big name, high volume implanter, he impressed me with his knowledge & attitude. He was also in my insurance network & the approval went without a hitch. I could not be happier with the res...
