IDK about an IPP implant but treatment for prostate cancer certainly does.

I just pump it up to max 2x/day and keep it inflated as long as it's convenient, which is anywhere between 1.25-2.5 hrs but usually somewhere around 1.5 hrs/event.

I know that many men experience pain during recovery but I don't think pain is or should be considered "normal" as part of the process. But WTF do I know. LOL!

I am fortunate in that I never experienced any pain associated with my implant during recovery or while using it to masturbate and/or fuck.
