Re: Is it Normal to Be Able to Feel the Reservoir

I can feel mine, i just assumed if your not fat you would feel it. Thanks for your quick comment. Yes, I have become very slim, as prior to the operation, I had chronic gastritis and lost 10 kilos very quickly. Would you say your reservoir is very low in the abdomen, like close to the pubic area --...

Is it Normal to Be Able to Feel the Reservoir

Hi Guys. A little concern that might be normal; I am not sure. I have never felt the reservoir before, but yesterday, I noticed a tough ridge that felt like tubing. After I felt it more, I am inclined to think it is the reservoir. Standing it visually protrudes, but while sitting, it does not. It se...

Re: When Will I Not Notice

On a positive note of being aware of it that could prove to be painfully important. I am aware of this when I sit on the loo. I have imagined going to sit and pointing it at the seat (that could be painful). One of our dogs likes to jump up us and my awareness stops her from sticking her nails in my...

Re: Tomorrow is my day! 13th Feb UCLH (London) - Surgery

For the first 12 months we can deal directly with the UCLH. After 12 months we have to have our GP refer us back. I guess that covers any issues that could potentially lead to a revision. I would like to eventually save the money so if I needed a revision I would go straight to Dr Ralph and Dr Lee ...

Re: Tomorrow is my day! 13th Feb UCLH (London) - Surgery

I would also be keen to know how found the difference from pre to post op size? I've had terrible experiences at uclh and due to be back in again so looking for a uro who will actually care about cosmetics. What was your experience... Uclh is not the same as St Peters andrology is it No. Uclh screw...

Re: Tomorrow is my day! 13th Feb UCLH (London) - Surgery

What did the team at UCLH mention reference revisions? If you have a problem with the implant can you reach out to them directly? Or is it a case of having to be referred through GPs and wait months. For the first 12 months we can deal directly with the UCLH. After 12 months we have to have our GP ...

I have also not had it fully inflated yet. ...

Re: Tomorrow is my day! 13th Feb UCLH (London) - Surgery

I have a consultation with Ralph in 2 weeks to see whether I need a test for VL and to induct me with invicorp. I trust either him or his understudy that did your operation are top of their game in this country? How did you fare with length and girth. Could you have sex at all prior to this? Thanks...

Re: Tomorrow is my day! 13th Feb UCLH (London) - Surgery

2 weeks in today. After about the 5th day (as expected), more discomfort and soreness descended, which has been on and off since. I've mainly popped a painkiller, which has made it much more comfortable. The most uncomfortable area is under the pump which has been discussed in another thread. As sug...
