Wished I had done it 2 years sooner instead of muse injections etc.

Excellent. Read similar about the Titan.

Re: Journey With UK NHS So Far- Others may contribute

Well done , once you have seen Ralph , it only took me a few months to get the op. He will give you a choice of which implant you want. I was looked after very well and follow up is execelent . They can do phone or video calls if you don't want to travel back down to london , suited me as I had no ...

Journey With UK NHS So Far- Others may contribute

Hi Gents. I thought I would post on my journey so far with applying to have the implant done via the NHS in the UK and the process I have been going through. When I first tried to find info and asked on FT about other guys that had the implant done via the NHS I had to wade through a lot of posts to...

Re: Pleasantly surprised

Hmmm good question... I am pleasantly surprised how hard the pump gets and how easy it is to do now 4 weeks post op. What I found challenging...... I guess the pump being so high. Feels in the way and hoping it drops. Hut very happy overall Good to hear! I’m 11 days post op and 60% activated. Cycli...

Good news Dave. I am trying to get referred to Dr Ralph this week rather than continue with waiting in Sheffield.

Good to see your update and it's all healing in the right direction.

Re: One of many Implant Journeys: Countdown to going Bionic

A nurse from my insurance called me before approving the surgery. She was mostly negative about the surgery, telling me if it fails/gets infected it could go all the way to amputation. Trying to talk me out of it I believe. Aren't we lucky we get to read experiences and get info from this forum, ot...

Re: One of many Implant Journeys: Countdown to going Bionic

That nurse is in the wrong department, she should just give you all the facts and not try to scare you. If 40 mg doesn't work then 60 mg won't either , that amount is enough to give an elephant an erection. I tried 80 and no different to 20, once you have have a serious venous leak there is no fixi...

Re: One of many Implant Journeys: Countdown to going Bionic

Those are the kinds of statements that scare guys to death regarding this decision. Sure, you can read some scary stories here, and hear them elsewhere. But what that nurse probably never took the time to consider was the over 90% satisfaction rate that is documented across several studies. Yes, ve...

Re: One of many Implant Journeys: Countdown to going Bionic

Great news. I have been following you as I am in the process within the UK to get the implant done on the NHS. I have had an initial appointment with the specialist ED nurse in Sheffield before seeing the surgeon/consultant for a final review of whether I can have it. I did ask her to refer me to Dr...
