Re: Prostate Cancer survivor and a Future implant
I also had my prostrate removed because I had a small spot close to the prostrate in the urethra about quarter inch in size. The surgeon gave me several options on what to do about the cancer. He said radiation was like a micro wave beam which would actually burn the spot and that there was the pos...

Re: Prostate Cancer survivor and a Future implant
Per the subject line: I had a radical robotic proctectomy 2.5 years ago. Surgery went very well but ED got worse. Pills no longer worked for me after surgery. VED helped but needed more help so tried Trimix and that has been working very well for me for the past 15 months. However; I am about to st...

Re: Prostate Cancer survivor and a Future implant
FinallyBionic, To answer your questions: After getting x3 2nd opinions (including a radiation oncologist) opinions were unanimous that I was an excellent candidate for robotic surgery. Even though I now need some follow-up treatment - I still feel good about the initial decision for surgery. I under...

Hello; A bit delayed with my introduction
66 years old and found this site ~2 years ago after undergoing radical robotic prostate cancer surgery. Was having OK sex pre-surgery using pills. At that time a fellow cancer survivor that I met on a PC website referred me to this site where I learned about injections. I am now to a much better pla...

Re: masturbation as a way to restore penile health?
I don't know about the right or wrong of masturbation in general. I also don't know about any benefits of masturbation for ED in general. I do believe it was essential to what recovery I've achieved in sexual function and activity, being a prostate cancer survivor (so far) and having had a RALP wit...

Re: Trimix Injections Twice A Week
I am a radical prostate surgery survivor.
And yes; I have read that injecting twice a week (with or without sex) is becoming a recommended post RP therapy for penile health for those having gone thru surgery for prostate cancer
