Re: Help- Implant when Medicare kicks in this August

After weeks of investigation, I decided on original Medicare (Parts A & B) with a supplement plan from AARP/UnitedHealthcare. If a procedure is covered by Medicare, Medicare will pay 80% and the supplement plan pays the other 20%. The supplement plan has no restrictions other than Medicare must ...

I can bend mine up and down with considerable effort but not sideways, and I can never get any extra pumps afterwards.

Re: No improvements in sensitivity, trying a new approach

I use a nice lotion and a baby sock to cover the glands and shaft. I think thats helped me after my implant. I ware it all day. When I had a large edema at the tip of my foreskin after surgery, my surgeon suggested as a non-circumsized patient I should keep the glans covered. Wearing a baby sock cl...

Re: Possible Implant Medical Mistake?

I would not necessarily classify his decision to plicate as a mistake. Surgeons who only perform a small number of implants do not have the experience and knowledge of the high-volume experts. Quite often the local urologist only uses AMS. When I had a video conference with my surgeon, I had already...

Re: Possible Implant Medical Mistake?

I had Peyronies curvatures of about 30 degrees up and left prior to my implant. Immediately after surgery those curves were gone but I'm about .5cm shorter on the left than on the right due to Peyronies, which is not noticeable. I did not have plication performed. I believe Dr. Eid has a photo of a ...

As far as sensation, I had a recent post on this and the experienced members say that it gets better with time.

Re: no pain when pumped to max

I'm 3 months out and I have never had pain when pumped to the max, even when keeping it inflated overnight. I felt no stretching either. I asked my surgeon if the "no pain, no gain" rule applied and he said that some men don't feel pain and to just keep at it. I know I have more saline lef...

Re: first sex after surgery was disappointing

Thanks, guys. I may try tadalafil to see if that helps in the interim, but I really don't like taking pills.

first sex after surgery was disappointing

I waited until I was 3 months out before I put it to use for the first time. I couldn't reach orgasm and I think it's because of lack of sensitivity. I guess that will get better over time. At least it wasn't painful.
