Re: 24 Hours
So it's the morning after. I am pleased to report everything went well. My pain is so minimal I'm only taking Tylenol. I woke up in recovery with no catheter, no drain, and no mummy wrap. As soon as I was able to pee they sent me home. I knew Lahey Clinic was an amazingly good hospital after having...

Re: Going Bonic!
I agree. It's very hit or miss. Seems like the insurance companies and workplaces would put policies in place that value quality of life. For a lot of people, including me, sex is a vital, healthy part of life and affects body and mind negatively when it goes away. Cancer was depressing enough and t...

Re: Going Bonic!
brianroa7 - good to hear you're doing well. My insurance didn't want to pay even after being told pills or injections no longer work. Talked to a female from insurance company before. Think she was trying to talk me out of it or find a reason to deny it. Turned the tables and asked her about her li...

With me I found a good solution by using compression shorts. They keep my penis straight and up and don't have the annoying band like my jock straps have.

Re: Going Bonic!
It was going to be 3 weeks for me to start cycling, but I had a conflict with scheduling an appointment that week. Aslo I think it varies depending on type of surgery and health issues, etc. I don't think I was helped by the fact that I had 2 surgeries for my cancer (HDR Brachytherapy) through my pe...

Re: Going Bonic!
No, I had a nice straight penis before surgery. This was confirmed by an artificial erection right before surgery began. My doctor thinks that right now I'm just seeing wrinkles in my implant and that things will straighten out once I can fully inflate. He said they inflated fully twice before wakin...

Re: Going Bonic!
Today is my third week post-implant! I on April 1, I had a Titan 22 cm implanted through a penile scrotal incision. I also had to have a counter incision because of prior abdominal surgery. My ED was caused by cancer treatment. I thought I would give an update for those contemplating an implant and ...

Re: Implant pics.
The implant is 22cm total. 15cm of that is outside of my body (in the shaft and glans) so inside my body is only 7cm. Other guys can have a 22cm implant and be longer or shorter than me on the external, visible part of their penis.

Re: Implant pics.
15 cm. No RTEs are noted on the surgical notes so I don't think there were any. I'll ask when I go back on May 2.

Re: Implant pics.
The doctor told me I'm 60-70% inflated. Can't wait to see what happens when I do start cycling on May 2. Also, I think the camera angle may have something to do with making it look a little bigger than it is. I should have had something else in the picture to give some perspective.
