Re: Another mid-30’s implant journal
Any update? curious lol Hey, I appreciate your interest, I absolutely will continue with updates. I have my 6 week virtual follow-up with Dr Clavell on Thursday, I figure that's a good milestone and I'll do a full update after I have that appointment. But the super short version is that everything ...

Re: Surgery: going solo
I had my operation 6 weeks ago with Dr Clavell and was completely solo, didn't tell anyone in my family. Flew to Houston the night before, had the surgery the next morning, which gave me several hours to recover from anesthesia until I felt clear-headed and coordinated enough to get an uber to my ai...

Re: Journal Dr Clavell March 09 2022 - Implant + Vasectomy + Ventral Phalloplasty
Hey brother, Dr Clavell did my Coloplast Titan surgery 5 weeks ago, you're in good hands. I did a similar length flight 3 days after surgery and I was comfortable enough, though I think it would have been much less comfortable if I had traveled any sooner. Ventral phalloplasty wasn't on my radar, I...

Re: Blankloads69 - Implant Journey of a Young-ish Guy
Thanks for sharing, blankloads. For those without insurance, or Europeans unfamiliar with how ridiculous our healthcare system is, let me reassure you before you die of sticker shock: the cost won't actually be $106,000. Those prices are marked-up in order to be heavily discounted. Your cost without...

Re: Those on TRT with an implant
Test Cyp, .35ml subcutaneously 2x per week. My test was below average, in the 300s, and this brought it up to ~800. I was at ~800 for 3 months with no change in ability to get/maintain erections, and that's when I decided to proceed with the implant surgery. While this was reviewed in the medical hi...

Re: Implant Journey Begun - One Remaining Concern
@defiant, congrats on the steps you've taken so far and having narrowed it down to only one remaining concern. Having been implanted only 3.5 weeks I can't really address your question, but it's good to see you making progress towards a decision.

Re: Blankloads69 - Implant Journey of a Young-ish Guy
Congrats, looks like a really clean job. Don't be surprised if it gets more bruised and swollen in the next day or two, it's not a totally linear healing process. Did they give you the urinal bottle? You can pee into that without bending your dick, then you just dump the contents in the toilet and r...

Re: Blankloads69 - Implant Journey of a Young-ish Guy
Congrats! The first 3-4 days are the toughest, but if you get good meals and good rest you’ll be in a much more comfortable condition a week from now. Happy healing, and welcome to the brotherhood.

Re: How long before I can walk after surgery?
Definitely talk to your doctor and take the doctor’s advice on walking, I believe it might depend a lot on how the surgery technique, as instructions certainly vary. For instance, my doctor told me to walk as much as possible to assist in recovery, even right after surgery. I was walking like a cowb...
