Re: Does your spouse pump it?

Have tried and it did not go well. Too many sensitive bits in the area. There is definitely a technique for holding the pump with one hand while pumping with the other. Best left to the expert!!

Re: PENIS PAIN and WEAK ERECTIONS WITH INJECTIONS

Post prostatectomy I had pain with Alprostadil ( Cavaject). Moved to Trimix which gave good erections with little pain but caused Peyronies within 2 months of using. Trimix is known to do this in some people. I had an implant three years after the RP and only wish I had done it sooner. I had nerve s...

Re: Ams 700 reliability

My first AMS LGX lasted 7 years, now 2 years into the second one. Both the first and second gets plenty of use.
I think 7 years is fairly typical, however it would be good to see some data on life span and failure mode

Re: why no sex after implant?

The surgeon I used advised 6 weeks before sex to ensure proper healing, I think we made it to about 5 weeks before putting it to use.

Re: Test Shot : alprostadil vs trimix

My experience with both 10 years ago was that Alprostadil gave me a lot of pain and 3 hour erections, even on small doses. Tried Trimix which worked well with no pain, but I developed Peyronies (upward Curve of 30 deg mid shaft) after 3 months. I understand from my Urologist that Trimix is well know...

Re: Revision and Traction

I had a revision 10 months ago and had to wait 6-8 weeks from the time of failure of the old implant to the revision. I asked the urologist/surgeon if I would get loss of length from no cycling for that period. He said no, there would not be any loss of length or girth. I started cycling at 4 weeks ...

Re: Why just alprostadil instead of trimix

Trimix can cause fibrosis and Peyronies in some people. This happened to me within 2 months of using Trimix.

Re: still sore after 3.5 months

It was 6 months from my revision for the soreness to pass. Now 9 months on it can be a little tender in the glans area after hard pumped and vigorous use. The tenderness passes in 12-24 hrs.

Re: Good surgeon in Sydney

Hi Drayan,
I had Dr Katelaris for my original implant and revision. I was very happy with the original work and the revision was faultless. I had peyronies and some fibrosis from trimix but the outcome was excellent. I don't have any data for the numbers he does but you could always ask him.
Cheers
