One good thing about the malleable is that it's free in Ontario. OHIP covers the whole surgery and equipment
The IPP's are not covered but the surgery is.

I was implanted by Dr Yonah in June of this year. I waited for over a year due to the Pandemic. I highly recommend him as he is a very caring doctor. I had my surgery on a Friday. He gave me his phone number to text or call him if there were any problems. I have to say that he is a very caring docto...

I am 10 days post op. I can bend towards navel but there is still quite a bit of pain. Like others, I just let it hang loosely around the house. When I go out for a walk I wear baggy shorts and long t-shirts to conceal. I also avoided the opioids and just take ibuprofen for the pain

Sometimes there maybe infection especially from the catheter. A burning sensation during peeing could be a sign of infection

Magnesium Citrate is a good inexpensive option. When taking with calcium, the citrate in magnesium reacts with the calcium to form calcium citrate which is soluble in water and therefore mitigate the risk of developing some kidney stones
