Re: Why is there such a negative view of implants outside of the Internet?
My urologist, who did a fine job on my RP, was negative on the Implant. Said it didn't feel natural (how about compared to no erection?). Spent the time to find the right surgeon and it was a life changing/saving experience. I would say it's not exactly like a natrual erection but pretty darn close,...

Re: Over pumping AMS 700CX
Had this issue early on. My doctor told me I could not break the pump no matter how hard I squeeze it. Clearly to me it seems the valve gets stuck somehow sometimes. Most of the time with a firm initial press with a noticable pop and 20 pumps and it's rock hard and can't pump anymore. If I wait a li...

Re: How much gain with revision?
My surgeon told me I could expect a size increase with a revision if needed in the future. I think my size with the current implant my be slightly less than pre ED, but it is really close and no complaints. But I would not turn down even .5 cm more if I could get it

Re: Sting When Pump To Max
Ditto what bigdave said. My focus was to get back to original size. Took about 6 months and by then the pain went away and went to one cycle a day. Initially, It did not hurt much at first when pumped to max but became unbearable after maybe 20 minutes or so but that gradually expanded and I think i...

Re: What to do to get the erection down after 2 hours?
From what I've read and heard, 4 sudafed (30 mg Pseudoephedrine, behind the counter) works for most. My doctor said he would give me injectable antidote because he trusted me to use it properly but would not for most of his patients. For me, nothing worked and I just lived with it. Switching from tr...

Re: Trimix, one side is not working!!!
After about a year, I started having issues on one side and could clearly see an indentation over about an inch length. Thought for sure it was scaring, but when I had the implant, the sugeon reported no scaring. I still see the indentation, but it's bearly noticable now. After I started plumping wi...

Re: Tri-Mix Erection – Not the same as my natural erection?
Can't say I noticed a difference in size or shape but firmness was not good most of the time as it was pre RP, which seems to make me more the exception. I was told I had a small prostate so assume I didn't lose as much ureathra as some from the sugery.

Re: Erection Development and wait times
30 units to start is just too much. I'm sure there are many like me that are sensitive to it like I was. 10 units of trimix and I went to the ER after 4 hours. I think 5 should be a starting dose. In reference to this topic, it was always 10 to 20 minutes for it to kick in with no variation in the p...

Re: Trimix vs super trimix
I was told by more than 1 urologist that it was ok to go to 100 units, but no more. An exact number doesn't make much sense to me since penises come in different sizes.

Re: Pain vs. Discomfort vs Sore
Your probably heard this before, everyone is different. Given that, I think it is the surgeon that makes the most difference. Mine was very proud of her skill and ability to keep pain at a minimum and to size properly. Expected a lot more pain but I turned out ot be a almost nothing. They used a ner...
