Re: what is the thickest water based lube to provide an easier seal
My personal favorite is Aloe Cadabra Vanilla. It's water based, thick, smells and tastes pleasant. Somebody previously posted it on FT and I bought it on Amazon.

Re: First time VED user - dumb question
SLKS317 I also a flat latex ring which I think is the one "oldguy" was referring to. Link is: https://www.vitalitymedical.com/encore-system-body-shield-2pack.html I also trim close and have no trouble getting a seal. The only other thing I do is move the shield from behind the ring/s to in...

Re: How long has anyone used Pumps for sex w/o taking it to the next level?
Phndoc, I had the same issue when I first started using the VED with a ring. As soon as I got erect and transferred the ring, the erection left. After a lot of experimenting with pumps and rings, I finally solved the problem. Actually, needed to go to smaller rings using two. The small size of the r...

Re: How long has anyone used Pumps for sex w/o taking it to the next level?
Phndoc, Are you using a VED? If so, are you placing the ring or rings on the VED and then while you are pumped up (erect), are you transferring the ring/s to the base of your penis? If you are, it sounds like you are removing the VED and then placing the ring/s./

Re: When to apply Vacuum Pump
I also haven't seen a medical grade VED with a pressure gauge. I use a gaged VED for exercising and learned how much vacuum I can take without pain or discomfort. When I use the medical grade one for PIV, I know when to stop based on the discomfort I feel - sometimes backing off just a little. You d...

Like Bidoink, I use an Osbon ErecAid pump and rings. I especially like their ring design and their ring inserter. Also use a cheapie for exercise. both wet and dry.

Re: How long has anyone used Pumps for sex w/o taking it to the next level?
I went the other way - from injections to pump. Injections no longer worked for me and didn't want to increase the dosage. Been using the VED with rings for around 4 years successfully. Can't always climax with the rings in place as wife cannot be touched after hers. Sometimes remove the rings and s...

Re: When to apply Vacuum Pump
Lazy Horse, My routine is have everything set up in advance: Rings on the tube and pump hooked up to the tube. I then get into foreplay and when ready for PIV or some oral then PIV, I place the tube on me, pump up the erection and snap the rings in place from the tube. That way it only takes a minut...

Re: Soft and supple with ring
rjc:
Osbon ErecAid instructions say to load the ring with the least tension onto the VED first, followed by the ring with the higher tension. That would equate to the smallest closest to the body. That's also the way I've always position my rings.
