Re: 8 Weeks and 3 Days Post Op Update

My doctor is Martin Gross. He's laid back and has a good sense of humor, but takes his work seriously. I don't know my pre op length or the length of the cylinders. I'm a little over six inches when fully inflated, but not excited. I asked my doctor about cycling last week. He said that's for guys w...

8 Weeks and 3 Days Post Op Update

Finally, eight weeks and one day after my implant, I went back to my doctor to learn how to inflate and deflate my implant and get the go ahead for action. A little over two weeks after surgery, I had my follow up appointment to be deflated. Wow, was I sore the rest of that day. Much to my chagrin, ...

Re: One week from implant. (Wish me luck!)

I hope it goes well. I got my implant on October 26th. I met with my doctor on Tuesday to learn how to inflate and deflate. I'm very happy with the results!

Re: Questions after pre-surgical appointment.

My doctor also did a stretch test at my pre-op appointment. He wasn't specific about the length of the implant or my penis. He just said, "You're going to have a really big dick." When he came to see me in same day before the surgery, I asked him how he would measure me. My understan...

Time to Have Sex

Hi Guys, I have a question. What have been the key indicators for you that it was time to have sex after your surgery? As of right now, all I know is that I"m going back to my doc next Wednesday to be deflated. And then I'm supposed to go back four weeks later, and he will show me how to inflat...

Re: Day 8 Post-Op Report

So, I definitely did not strain when having bowel movements, so the first two times were slow. And then the combination of prescribed laxative and milk of magnesia kicked in, and I went way the other way. :D

Day 8 Post-Op Report

My implant surgery was one week ago today. I thought I would share some of my experiences during the first week. Surgery went smoothly. Honestly, when I was laying in the bed in same day, I was struggling to believe it was actually going to happen. It felt like many things, such as COVID-19, problem...

Re: 3 Year Anniversary of Implant

Greg1956, Thanks for your story and photos. I could relate to several things you talked about--long-term ED, poor guidance from doctors, only being able to maintain erection in certain positions, worsening of problem. You're giving me hope. I have my pre-op meeting with my doctor on Thursday, and my...

Re: My Initial Visit With Top Implant Surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Brady, Orlando, FL

Cigar56, Dr. Brady is right about Cigna. My urologist gave me the same warning because I have Cigna, too. I first met with my urologist in February. It took until August for Cigna to approve my implant surgery. And that was with me being very persistent. I'm only 51, so waiting several months for an...

Re: My Story

Gentlemen, Thank you for the ideas, information, and encouragement. I want to clarify my question. Are people seeing counselors after surgery to help with learning how to regain their sense of selves? And if so, how is it going? What are you talking about and learning? I have drifted so far from whe...
