Re: Diagnosis of Severe ED - Pelvic Floor Dysfunction!
Resurrecting this since I'm going thru a similar problem. Since my RPP 20 mo ago, I'm still having incontinence issues and have been seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist for a couple weeks now. My problem is the pelvic floor is weak and not flexing and when like it should. I still get random lea...

Re: Post-prostatectomy- my experience and relative facts
So it’s been a while since I posted and 21 mo post-RPP, but a few quick updates and a question for the gallery: - PSA and testosterone are good. I got back on the pellets. - Insomnia is still a fooking beyotch, though... - No blood flow to my best friend... nada, zilch, none whatsoever. Trimix works...

Re: Injections after Radical Prostatectomy
The answer is different for everyone. I had my RPP 15 mo ago. My uro suggested that I try injections, but I waited over a year. I started on cialis, then a pump at 3-4 mo post op. The key is to be somewhat in control of your incontinence before you try anything. Pissing your pants and on your partne...

Duluth Trading Co, bullpen underwear. Hey have a sewn in pouch for your junk and are super comfy. I have several pairs. They are pricey, but worth it.

Re: A question about testerone levels
Whichever method you chose, you need the proper amounts of testosterone consistently in your system. This is vital for energy, function, muscle tone, sleep and several others. I’m with hockey on this- testepel pellets are the best option. I was on them for 5yrs until my RPP, and am waiting to get ba...

Re: First time experience
Finally got the nerve to try my first injection. I haven't had my "teaching session" with the Uro, yet- so I decided to go for it. I used 10 units of Trimix. I was scared shitless leading up to the stick, and had set the bar pretty low in case it didn't work. Got a useable chubb within 10-...

Re: Sources and costs of Trimix?
Local compounding pharmacy. I found that my insurance does cover it, I just need to submit a receipt for reimbursement.

Re: Sources and costs of Trimix?
Mix: Alprostadil 10, Papaverine 15, Phentolamine 0.5; 20 mL total. Also got 5/16" 31 ga syringes.
Insurance doesn't cover anything, so straight up out of pocket.
Total= $95

Re: First time experience
tacking on here... I got my first script yesterday, but my "teaching appt" isn't for 2 months. Mix: Alprostadil 10, Papaverine 15, Phentolamine 0.5; 20 mL total. Also got 5/16" 31 ga syringes. Total= $95 I'm tempted to try it, but as many have stated here- don't inject until after you...
