Thanks. I was at the MD yesterday and he helped my inflate and deflate, but I still have difficulty finding the deflate button. I guess it takes practice, but you are right, it is nothing like the keychain.

AMS 700

It has been a month and the healing is going well. The main problem I have is locating the release valve. I am afraid to pump much because I am afraid I won't be able to release it afterward. I still have stitches which may be getting a bit in the way. I see the MD this week and I hope he can help. ...

Good luck. I had mine on Aug 19. After a week I felt much better. It is almost 2 weeks, still a little sore but no need for pain meds and swelling is mostly gone.

How long did you guys have to wait until you went swimming after surgery? It has been two weeks, and I don't see the doctor for another week. I was able to shower after the second day.

Thanks to all who responded. It has been a little more than a week, and I am much improved. Swelling is way down, no more pain medication, but still use ice packs which help a lot. Still look bruised, but when I had an angiogram ten years ago I was black and blue for months. I don't see the doctor f...

I had to drive to the doctor two days after surgery to have the bandages removed and I was okay- it was an hour each way. The only hard part was getting in and out of the car which is low off the ground.
