Re: Five months and still sore

OLdguy, What was your antibiotic? (sunburn feeling) I took Levofloxin (Cipro) and the skin on my glans stripped off and bled for 6 months. PS: besides being allergic to levofloxin, I was allergic to Trimix. sever/sever pain. On the scale of 1 to 10 it was pass the bullets so I can shoot myself. Sor...

Re: Five months and still sore

544kenmatt I had my penile implant January 9, 2020. I never took any hard pain meds and when I awoke from having the surgery I had a bad headache. That was the worst part of my implant surgery period. I had to heal for six weeks then was cleared for sex. I had sex the day after I was cleared to hav...

Re: Five months and still sore

Old Guy After I read your post I just had to send you a note and tell you how thankful I was that didn’t experience any problems even worth talking about. When I woke up from anesthesia I had a terrible headache that lasted for days. The terrible headache was the worst part of my surgery period! I ...

Re: Five months and still sore

Dr. Campbell gave me no alterative other than the Coloplast Titan OTR if I wanted an inflatable device. I sure hope it lasts many years because I do not want to do this over. As far as pain pills I would have kept eating them like candy for a couple of months if it wasn't for the side effects.

Re: SHOW & TELL

Looks like there are lots of guys here willing to "Show & Tell". I sure wish I had found this site before my surgery, oh well. Anyway I am in the SW Ohio area and I would be willing to help any guy considering an implant. Show and tell, talk, advice, what ever is needed.

Re: having fluid drained from growth on testicle...

I'm no doctor but that sounds painful, either to drain it or remove it. One of my clients asked about my surgery, when I gave him the "story" the first thing he asked is "Did they remove your testicle?" I'm not sure if removal would help with your issue but I do know some company...

No conditions that should slow healing, except I am a smoker. I used Dr. Campbell of Urology Group in Cincinnati.

Re: having fluid drained from growth on testicle...

Ouch Wolfcreek. Not funny but actually that's the story I've been using (growth on a testicle) after my implant surgery. You know how the kids and other people want to know what surgery you had that kept you down for so long. LOL Sure not telling my kids a bionic penis so mom & I can keep doing ...

Re: Injection Experience

When I was using Trimix and Quad mix I used two different pharmacies. Pretty much the same cost, about $150 for a 5 ml bottle shipped overnight. Those worked for me for maybe 3-4 years, Trimix for maybe 3 years, Quad mix less than one year. The issue was the pain after injecting, and after a while t...

Re: Five months and still sore

Thanks for all your comments. Yes we do all heal differently, and I agree if the docs told you how long recovery could be many may not have an implant done. I am not diabetic, take no daily pills. Generally healthy but I do smoke. I did find hot baths sure felt good every morning for a while. Still ...
