And soon after getting the surgery? My concern is insurance denying my application due to pre existing medical issues.
It’s getting harder and harder to get this surgery approved. Wondering if anyone can direct me to a insurance company who covers IPP.

My implants been broken for two years now
Maybe a bit longer. I’ve since been religiously using VED and a stretching device to combat any shrinkage. I finally got insurance this month only to find out I’m not covered. I spoke with Clavells office, Cigna, my HR department and it’s a hard no from everyone. Yesterday I went to healthcare.gov t...

Re: Clavell office and Cigna denial
Let me preface this by saying that, in general, I hate insurance companies. They are your friend and glad to take your money until you file a claim. I think I’d suck it up and see a lawyer. I would need to know more about the exclusion. They might get away with not covering a penile implant surgery...

Re: Cigna declined me
This blows my mind! - does your surgeon do a lot of implants? A lot of the commercial insurers have really strict criteria and the surgeon has to carefully document the medical need. As mentioned above they may need to do a doc to doc review with the insurance folks. check this out https://static.c...

Show and tell malleable
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone with their malleable implant could share their pros/cons/pictures to this post. I believe having a place where people could access information on malleable opposed to going through several different poses would be great

Re: Cigna denied surgery for Clavell
Have you talked to Dr.Clavell since the surgery determination ? Does he have a plan B approach with the insurance company? He's seen it all .... in the surgical room and out . He's dealt with all these insurance companies. Hey Journeyman- I have no way to talk with him. I have no email or number- o...

Re: Cigna denied surgery for Clavell
I’m stressed out. I can’t believe this company is excluding this surgery. Cigna stated they wouldn’t even do a peer to peer- I hate this. Idk who I should contact next? Maybe my HR department ?

Re: Cigna denied surgery for Clavell
I have Cigna and there are many plans and they approved it. Clavell's office should be working on it. My initial request was denied but then they found it approved under "gender re-assignment." No I did not go w the gender reassignment but it gave Cigna what it needed to approve my implan...
