Re: Spinal cord injury incomplete 27m

I didn't have a spinal cord injury but found the trimix was too restrictive, cumbersome, and inconvenient. I tried it for 3 months and had an implant and haven't looked back. It's been such a morale booster.

Re: Durability study with 2,384 first implants

Selection bias. Those with implant failures may be more likely to post here and those without issue not, so perception is skewed.

Re: Inguinal Pain

Must have been a strain. Took ibuprofen for a few doses and I'm fine.

Re: Inguinal Pain

Thanks for the replies. No fever, it could have gotten tugged after some adventurous play, but that was about a week prior. I texted Kramer. Waiting to see if he responds.

Inguinal Pain

Anyone ever experienced new inguinal and pubic pain around their reservoir? Started last week. I am 14 months out from my implant. Feels almost like the area is "bruised".

Re: Age 27 - scheduled Kramer implant - please help

I am now 3 months post-op and hands down, having this implant was the best decision of my life. I am able to have sex whenever, where ever and with whomever I want. I don't have to worry about a pill not working because I ate on a date or keeping a syringe and vial for trimix. I get a boner every ti...

Re: My implant journal—Kramer Urology, AMS 700 LGX

I'm at 8 weeks and my sutures just started dissolving. Apparently my body doesn't like the suture material and developed some localized inflammation with some opening of the incision site and drainage. Also, I had some skin peeling almost like with a sunburn that occurred. Dr. Kramer has been great...

Re: Do you have tubing on the underside of the penis?

I can feel my tubing from the cylinders below the base of my penis. The tubing to the reservoir can ride up into the space where the inguinal canal, scrotum, and penis intersect before moving into the abdomen. I can sometimes feel the reservoir move in my abdomen if the tubing gets tugged during sex...

Re: Sore Tips

BmorePaul I read you post and wanted to tell you it was encouraging to me. I am scheduled for implant January 9th. Went for my readmission testing yesterday. I have been torn for several weeks if I am doing the right thing for me and at this point I am convinced it is the right decision for me. I w...

Re: Cord

I agree that it's probably related to the vein ligation. Kramer said it could also be related to a "crinkle" in the cylinders and keep an eye on it.
