If I’m gonna be brutally honest, it’s never safe to smoke. Tobacco in any form entails some risk.
However, as someone who has been chewing tobacco & dipping snuff for 55 years, I think if you’re past 6 months that your smokes aren’t going to interfere with you healing up from surgery.

Re: Mysterious Re-inflation of AMS LGX 700
Dave: Seems like I dealt with the mystery reinflation for a while. I’ll be honest: on an intellectual level I know all these devices are made the same and have been tested. That being said, at 4 yrs 5 months I believe my implant is basically a real dick. Like mine pre-implant, it has a mind of its o...

Re: Mysterious Re-inflation of AMS LGX 700
I have been having this issue where, after I deflate to the best of my ability, my implant.....it seems to slowly fill back up to an annoying degree. I saw my doctor yesterday, and he said it was because when I deflate and squeeze my penis, I'm not actually getting fluid out of the part of the cyli...

Re: Waistline circumstances after IPP. Reservoir?
When I got implanted on 12/31/2019 I was at the peak of my fitness phase. Covid hasn’t hit, I was in the gym 1.5-2 hours daily. I had taken my lean distance runner build that had turned into a dad bod and put a lot of meat on my chest, shoulders, and arms. I was 6’0”, weighed 185#, and wearing a 30”...

Re: Airport groping
Last 6 months or so I’ve gone AUS-BNA-AUS, AUS-MIA-AUS, AUS-FLL-GCM-FLL-AUS, AUS-LAS-AUS, & AUS-MSY-AUS. Every trip and every airport has used the naked scanner. I’ve triggered every one every time except LAS & BNA. I’ve confessed to having mesh from hernia repair but the TSA agents have tol...

Re: Infection Worries
I’m 68 years old. It took me quite a while, until my late 20s, to learn a valuable lesson that has paid great dividends the last 40 yrs. Many people are so afraid of death that they never experience life. Yeah, keep in mind that there’s an implant in there and there are isolated cases of an infectio...

Re: New here and need advice
We have been injecting since the first of the year after almost a year with no penetration due to accidents and surgery, neck and back. It is great to enjoy PIV again. Trimix is a Godsend but the learning curve is a bitch. I am on second formula due to length of erection time. Missing injections a ...

Re: Long term success??
When I got diagnosed in 1987 there was no Viagra, Cialis, or any oral meds for ED. Prostaglandin e1/Caverject/exec weren’t on the market. It was bimix or celibacy. I chose bimix. I won’t bore you with a chronology of everything I tried. Suffice it to say 32 years later I was on Trimix. So I’ve injec...

Re: Clavell office and Cigna denial
Let me preface this by saying that, in general, I hate insurance companies. They are your friend and glad to take your money until you file a claim. I think I’d suck it up and see a lawyer. I would need to know more about the exclusion. They might get away with not covering a penile implant surgery ...

Re: Are implants a long term solution?
Yes, an implant is a long term solution. Not too sound Hitleresque but they are also the final solution. The most recent numbers coming from high volume implant docs: 96% of implants are working at 5 years. 60% are still chugging along at 10. We have been all thinking a revision every ten years. Wit...
