I have contacted AMS directly. They informed me the last time [pump prior to this one] that I could do a "hard" reset of the pump by squeezing the block of the pump opposite side of the release button and this would deflate the pump. I also attempted that with this pump & no prevail.

I do not know of any one that has had one there. I would suggest though research of surgeons and possibly a plain ride may be worth the life time experience.
