See a good urologist that is experienced treating ED. Follow their advice. Usually that will mean starting with pills. If that doesn’t work injections of bimix or trimix. If that doesn’t work, an implant. But start with a good urologist and see where it goes. Lots of good info and support here.

I would not inject the night before surgery in case they inject as part of the measuring for the procedure. But I can’t imagine that using a VED would be a problem.

“Ask your doctor” is the safest advice.

I’ve never heard of a maintenance dose. Is that a thing? What is the purpose and how is the dose determined?

Definitely ask your MD about getting your incision wet in a lake. I can’t imagine that smoking weed will harm anything. (Unless you don’t bring enough for everyone.)
