Re: Doctor list by state

I do NOT recommend either implant surgeon I contacted at Virginia Urology to perform ANY implant procedure. Nor do I recommend the Virginia Urology Ambulatory Surgical/ Surgery Center (ASC) in Stony Point, Virginia (Richmond) for any urological procedure. My reasons have been chronicled on FT and I ...

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

More interesting comments and real life results. Seems some of you feel no tubing at all except when they flow together into the pump or just above it inside your scrotum. Others are winding around resembling some of the nation's interstate cloverleaf. I agree that some surgeon's should NOT be permi...

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

Both are interesting pics. I also have a 2 cm RTE on each cylinder that would poke the exits a bit more forward. However, I know what I'm feeling. It could be that the surgeon still brought the tubing out on the sides of the cavernosa instead of underneath. Possible that the cavernosa incision was s...

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

My cylinders do retain a nice amount of saline. However, that isn't the reason I began this thread. My cylinder tubing comes out of the sides of my cylinders, not the bottoms as I believe they should. Where do all of your cylinder tubes exit? The bottom of your cylinders or elsewhere? Focus, please....

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

Tangerine...I very much appreciate the research. The Clinical Documentation that I received from Virginia Urology when I asked for 'every' piece of paper associated with my procedure noted the Implants as follows: Item 101685: Coloplast Cylinder Set 22CM - ES2922 Expiration Date: 09/05/2023 Lot #: 6...

Re: Your Prostate

WES...just a few data points for me. My last PSA was 1.0. I had my Testosterone checked early last year and my PCP said it was normal. I thought LowT may have had some bearing on my ED but, in hindsight, it did not. As a VERY bi guy, I've experienced several prostate massages...some even self-inflic...

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

RoastBeef...sorry I didn't get to your q with my last post. I bypassed VEDs and/ or rings of any kind on the way to my decision to be implanted. The mrs has a 'thing' with spontaneity/ continuity and anything that interrupts the foreplay routine on the way to insertion just cramps her style...has fr...

Re: Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

oldbeek/ all...thanks for all the input. I had a 'huge' penoscrotal incision (4+ inches) due to the surgeon's removal of a significant 'turkey neck' skin (scrotal webbing). So, no, not infrapubic. He had all the room in the world to work in while he had me on the table...nothing like the minuscule o...

Cylinder Tubing Exit Scheme

After just a bit more that 5 months post-op, the more I explore my implant, the more I come to question my surgeon's credentials and knowledge base regarding how to properly install the unit (no matter whether it's AMS or Coloplast). I was implanted on 11/8/18 with a Coloplast Titan Touch that inclu...
