Re: How many days semi-inflated after surgery?
Still not been deflated yet - they tried again today but still too painful.. I requested if they could give it another night possibly.. but they seem eager on trying again today. Hope this delay in deflating doesn't cause complications later, but there's only so much threshold of physical pain I can...

How many days semi-inflated after surgery?
I am 2 nights after implant surgery. My implant has been kept semi-erect since the surgery. Plan was to deflate me yesterday (i.e. after the 1st night). But the pain was unbearable, so I didn't feel able for them to even try it. I think they're going to try again today - meaning that I will have spe...

Re: Pain at base of penis, 3 days out surgery
I am day 2 out of surgery.. and have identical pain at base of penis (on the underside.. but wondered if mine is due to a Nesbitt's/dorsal vain ligation I had years ago.. as the pain feels identical).. the level of pain has been unbelievable.. most physical pain I've ever felt I'd say. Taking parace...

Re: LGX (an AMS variation) v Titan
Bubba1956 - from your research, would you say that ALL models of the AMS (i.e. LGX, CX or CXR) are more advantageous than the Titan? Or is it only the LGX that you think is more advantageous than the Titan? Interested to hear your thoughts, because I am in the exact same position on needing to choos...

Without corporal dilation
Hey guys, I came across a 2013 study ("Strategies for maintaining penile size following penile implant" if you Google it), which reports that penile-implant surgery in a group "without corporal dilation" led to 1.1cm improved Average postoperative penile-length; compared to a 1.2...

Re: LGX (an AMS variation) v Titan
DougAnd, can a patient pump themselves up within the first 3 weeks - or does this first inflation specifically have to be done by the surgeon?

Re: LGX (an AMS variation) v Titan
Thanks very much for your message - it's very informative! Some follow-up questions I have from your message: 1. Are you suggesting I buy myself a Vacuum Pump device (I do not currently have one - so could look on Amazon), to use on myself in the first 3 weeks after surgery? And if so, should these ...

LGX (an AMS variation) v Titan
Okay, so interested to hear people's opinion on whether I should go for LGX or Titan... Pros and cons of each? I am having my implant done in the UK, where the NHS offer either AMS CXR or Titan Coloplast implants. I infact do not yet know if the NHS will offer the LGX - but I will be asking my surge...

Re: Coffin effect = shrink to fit
I am having penile-implant in the UK, where I've been offered either Titan or AMS. Is AMS the same thing as "LGX"? Not sure if LGX is offered on NHS in the UK - I've been told I can either have "Titan" or "AMS" - so not sure if LGX would be referring to the same thing a...
