Blowout II

Revision broke 5 months to the day. Things were going great, then BAM. This one I think is the tube from the reservoir, but we’ll see. The doc is out of town, so I have an appt next week. This crap sure leaves you deflated (pardon the pun}. The first break was 11 months from the day of implant. This...

Re: Implant blew out!

No he did not. He just said I would be happy with the revision and told me what he installed. I had asked why the initial implant was 20+2 instead of 22 cm so he knew that concern. My concern regarding this was because my girth seemed to be less after the implant. Regarding size, the only measuring ...

Re: Implant blew out!

I must say, there is little comparison between the original placement of the device last March and the recent revision. Pain was off the charts last year, but with the revision I’m going to work tomorrow and expecting only minor discomfort. Thank you for this forum and all of you great guys who part...

Re: Implant blew out!

LA, How'd it go? Still in the hospital. Doc wants antibiotics through tomorrow morning. Seems to have gone really well. The leak was in the pump. Kept the reservoir and replaced pump and cylinders from 20+2 to 22+1.5. 90% less pain, hopefully learn more tomorrow I was out of it post op....still am ...

Re: Implant blew out!

11 months to the day. Revision scheduled for 3/5. Wondering what to expect as far as healing compared to the initial surgery. How about if it's a simple line repair? Is recovery much quicker? Everything was working great and it just sprung a leak at about 60% while cycling. Thanks for any help. Can...

Titan questions at 6 weeks

I found out yesterday that was the Titan, not OTR or touch. It doesn’t matter to me as long as it functions well for a long time, but the cynic in doesn’t like the idea of an implant that’s been sitting in a bin for 8 years. Anyone know if they are still in production? Penis is straight but points 1...

Re: Ready or not

Thank you guys for the enthusiastic encouragement, Dr. seemed pleased with things at 1-week exam, so I’m pretty optimistic. I do wish there was less reluctance to prescribe adequate pain meds, just because it has become a political football.

Re: Ready or not

Thanks, mine’s been great too, thank God. I think I was in some denial going in and thought I would go home the day of surgery (Wed) and return to work on the following Monday….that is funny. All the tough guy has been knocked outta me. Changed my back-to-work day to 4/9.

Ready or not

Hi all, just over a week out from implant. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, so I thought I would join in this community to help sort things out as I go, since this was one of the resources I used to make my decision to go ahead with the implant. Surgery seems to have gone well but post-op has been to...
