Re: Does the length depend completely on the implant

Quincy is correct. The doctor will insert a measuring device into the penis where the cylinders will be and measure what length is required. Most doctors will insert what ever applies and then adjustments are also made with the rte's at the base. But you are only going to have what you were born wit...

Re: 28 years old and getting implant tomorrow

You will really be happy with your implant. You will feel complete again. That is how I felt after my first implant. I love mine! Good luck and apply plenty of ice packs at least every four hours so that the swelling will go down. Also the bruising will start to disappear within a few days. I got th...

Re: AMS 700 Malfunctioning?

I noticed it right away when the doctor told me to start inflating. When I would squeeze the ball it would make like a popping sound and it would work most of the time. If it did not pop you could squeeze the ball and nothing would happen. So I would press the release button over and over back and f...

Re: A lot of questions about my malleable implant

I would never have a malleable because of my size. Eight inches it would be impossible to hide it. Wearing dress pants it would stick out too much.

Re: Feel of implant in a penis.. Questions that I have.

My penis flaccid feels about as normal as any can be, hangs straight down. You can not feel the cylinders.

My suggestion for the pump is to put it as low as possible on the scrotum. Mine is right between the testicles and you can not even tell it is there.

Re: AMS 700 Malfunctioning?

You need to get that MS pump replaced. Pretty sure that is the problem. Simple operation if they do just that, but sometimes these surgeon will do more. But if the ball stays collapsed the valve is not resetting itself. It got stuck on the open position and will not hold the saline that is pushed in...

Re: Post-op underwear

What they put on me after my revision was a jock strap which supported the scrotum, but the penis still hung out. It worked good for me.

Not sure about the picture with the plastic. Seems like it would give too much of a bulge and for me it would be embarrassing.

Re: AMS 700 Malfunctioning?

I had problems after 10 months of my revision. But mine started acting up from the start. It seemed to me like the valve on the MS pump would get stuck, then it would make like a popping sound and it would work. Finally it completely stopped working. I had a partial revision in Feb 2019 and everythi...

Re: Revision

Gary: I forgot to ask you if they can just replace the cylinders and leave the rest alone. It is a lot less intrusive by just doing a partial, and AMS says that it is OK to do a partial as long as it is less then five years from the last implant.
