Re: Non-Medicare Insurance
Hey guys, just found out my employer is switching from an insurance company with 80% coverage of treatments and implants to an insurance that **explicitly** does not cover sexual dysfunction treatment of any kind, be it pills, pumps, injections, or implants (unitedhealthcare). I am beside myself wi...

Re: At what point did you see most length re-gain?
I'm on week 9 of cycling twice daily. About 15 Perito's to get me to max in the morning, and then max with VED most nights. I lost between 3/4" and 1" after surgery. It seems like I'm only 1/4" down now which returned quickly, but it has kind of stalled for now. The good thing is tha...

Re: A QUESTION ABOUT CYCLING (AMS LGX)
I think you should follow your doctors' instructions on cycling. Once your doctor releases you then you can consider other options for cycling. As far as going to max inflation I have been of the understanding that you need to try to get to a point where you feel some stretching. Like stretching ou...

You may also want to reach out to Boston Scientific. They may have some information that doctors do not have.

Re: Pump location
My pump is located at the front of my scrotum and the block long side is facing front and rear. Surgeon said she would do revision to place at rear of scrotum but it would be harder to access to pump. I would also have the Tenacio pump at the same time. Anybody have their pump at rear of scrotum? M...

Re: 2 weeks post op, Dr. Kohler
I have 22cm coloplast Titan with 1cm RTE, 2 weeks ago, I am about 5" at 50% inflated. I was about 6" pre surgery, and wondering if at 100% inflated if that length will improve. Girth is about the same, even at 50% inflation, maybe 1/8" less. With aggressive cycling I wonder how much ...

Re: infection risk with revision
Infection risk is higher with revision surgery because the bio film that surrounds all the components of the device will have a lot of bacteria in a percentage of men. When I had my repair, my doctor did cultures of the bio film fluid of every part of my device that was disturbed. All of my original...

I smoked cigars and stopped for my first operation. Several weeks before and a greater amount of time afterwards. For my repair I smoked the night before the surgery and then the day after. I had no problems either time.

Re: Did your insurance pay for your revision/new implant after the implant wore out or malfunctioned
Just curious if your insurance paid for a revision/new implant after it failed so to speak. I see a lot of guys get only about 4 years out of their first implant. Thank you in advance. My insurance would only pay for local doctors with results so poor a large number of men ended up having the devic...
