Re: AMS 700 stopped working
My AMS 700 failed with the same symptoms. The recovery was easier on the revision. One thing that made it easier was going home without a catheter. The Dr said if I could demonstrate urinating before release, I would not need the catheter. It was difficult and I was still somewhat groggy, but I was ...

Re: For those with an implant how many years has it lasted you with everyday use?
Hillywilly, My failure was slow paced. I was losing fluid from the reservoir which showed up as the pump running flat before fully hard. It got progressively worse. I noticed that if l left the fluid in the cylinders, the system did not lose fluid. My solution was to pump full, which was 75% hard, a...

Re: For those with an implant how many years has it lasted you with everyday use?
3 years for me. When I look across posts on this forum, I only find one user who lasted upwards of 15 years, and he claimed never to use it. I do see many with multiple revisions over the span of less than 10 years. It could be that early failures is what brings users to FT, and as such we are not a...

Re: hardness Titan vs. AMS
I have had both. The AMS is softer, more comfortable, and more natural when deflated. The Titan may be harder when inflated but the hardness of AMS is beyond that of any natural erection. I posted a video demonstrating the AMS hardness when I had that unit. I crushed some cans with my dick. It seeme...

Re: Broken implant / How long can it stay this way?
I used Dr Cramer as surgeon and failed after only 3 years. My failure must have been between the pump and reservoir as it slowly list fluid only when deflated. When I figured out the failure I was still able to pump to 80%. Staying at that level I was able to maintain size over the 6 months it took ...

Re: Size immediately after revision
Was about same length and girth as you prior to any implant. Maintained length but lost girth with implant 1. Lost almost 2 inches length with revision. Same size titan as you so hopefully will get some back but no gains so far.

Re: Can you have sex with a deflated titan implant
I would classify the stages of inflation/deflation as 1 - iron hard 2 - comfortably erect 3 - smooth and soft 4 - wrung out For me penetration is possible in level 3 with a small amount of natural erection. It takes a bit of work to deflate to level 4, but at that level my dick looks like an empty b...

Re: Loss of length
With first implant I did not lose much. With my revision, I lost a lot of length. It was not a question of no erections causing atrophy. I went into surgery with an implant stuck partially inflated at 8.5”. I came out of surgery and still with 6.5”. Not sure why as revision implant was actually larg...

Re: Airport security
I also got a card with my AMS, but did not receive one with revision to Titan. I was never asked for a card or asked anything other than “Is this you?” when the agent pressed both hands alongside my dick which printed the outline. Not a big deal, but repeated pat downs led to awkward explanations to...

Re: Revision surgery in 15 months: pl advise
In my case revision with a larger implant (24+1 to a 26 cm) resulted in loss of over one inch. I don’t get it but that was the result.
