Re: Amount of inflation after surgery

You were lucky, Donnie. Or just another insensitive male ... I was left at 60% for two weeks, then at first follow up deflated to 10-20% & instructed to cycle to 60% and build up from there over 2-3 weeks. Little by little the pain associated with these processes is diminishing, to judge by a de...

Re: Feeling robbed

If you are capable of feeling pleasant sensation in your cock then everything is possible; no: better than you have ever known is possible. I had my RP in January. Not nerve-sparing, so my chances of gaining an erection post-op were, as it was told me, extremely low. That probability played out. But...

Re: G'day

You are so right, AMS!
It's interesting to read others' experiences of using cold packs to soothe themselves: my one attempt at that left me in agony. Heat, on the other hand, has helped me a lot.
And that's just one aspect of the enormous range of our experiences of symptoms & treatment.

Re: Masturbating/Getting Off With a Flaccid Dick

Post-RP I learned that it is possible to achieve orgasm by stroking the strange small limp thing hanging off the front of my body. It flopped around uselessly, but at first I was simply pleased to have the sensation confirmed. As the weeks went by, the paltry evidence in my hands intruded more and m...

Re: Process & procedure: USA v Australia

I couldn't contemplate the injection thing, not that it was seriously suggested as an option for me. Nerve-shredding RP served as a convenient pretext for going straight to the implant. Truth be told, the plumbing had been crap for years beforehand.

Re: Huge scrotal sack

As stated....swelling is normal and I went through the same thing......this is what I used as an ice pack.....good for 14 hours ice pack.jpg That would be the New Zealand solution. Be careful: those sheep can be very seductive. On a lighter note, my post-op experience has been the opposite of most ...

Re: Process & procedure: USA v Australia

Tangerine - sex on day 19 implies a pretty good result, I'm thinking. For me that would be tomorrow. Hmmm. No, this will not be happening in our house. Oldgoat - prostatectomy was mid-January and implant 22 May this year. Implant might, I suppose, have been a little earlier but the surgeon was overs...

Re: Urine Leakage during sex, after RP

Bob, Like you I had robotic RP earlier this year - January. Result: one minute I was holding my water and ejaculating everywhere, and the next minute the reverse. Was referred to physiotherapy for training of the pelvic floor muscles, and that has helped greatly on the water front, to the point that...

Re: WIVES WHO WONT LET THEMSELVES ENJOY ORAL SEX

I agree with newtoed about it having a lot to do with emotions. And with whatever cultural expectation or hidden hangups she has. My first wife - born late 50s, so growing up in the wake of the 60s sexual revolution - thought of herself as a highly sexual being. But what it really came down to for h...

Re: Desperately searching for answers

Well, here's hoping. Some years ago I got onto testosterone replacement through a general practitioner here in Melbourne. Whether it had any revitalising effect I'm not sure about - I sure didn't notice anything remarkable, but the infant took to referring to it as my anger management cream ... But ...
