Re: Question for prostatectomy guys

On the leakage front, post-RP I was in the big boy pants for a couple of weeks before working my way down to maybe 10-20ml/24 hour leakage at 3-4 months with lots of kegels. Implant 40 days ago; leakage only slightly worse in the immediate aftermath and now back to where I was pre-implant, or better...

Wow, Donnie! I'm beginning to understand why the US health system delivers so much less for so much more ...
I'll total up my expenses when all the statements have come in, but I'm estimating less than 1/3 of that cost, treating AUD and USD as equivalent.

Re: 70 Days Post Op

At 30 days I have significant, er, "discomfort" most of the time - to the point that I've not been able to get back to work yet and sleep is much disturbed. But there are short periods of relief. It's slow, that's all. If I didn't have such a fucking humungous dick (with additional nerves ...

Re: need help finding the deflate button.

I, too, found difficulty at 2 weeks with the Titan (and some beyond, I gotta say). It was easier if I located the dished bit on the bottom of the valve with my middle finger first: for me that was easier to identify by touch than the button on top. Maybe because of my particular pattern of swelling?...

She can't wait - although she has to. 4 weeks post-op and I'm getting a bit toey, though the pain/pleasure balance hasn't yet tipped in favour of coitus. Soon, soon ...

Re: Pump placement

Your nuts politely move aside to make way for the new guest. That has, in my case, involved post-op swelling buildup around the pump and its plumbing, but that is gradually going down. The expansion/contraction of the scrotum in response to heat and cold seems to work as it did before, the only diff...

Hey Expo I can't offer any insight into your device, I'm afraid, but can offer some suggestions on other points you raise. For constipation I recommend an iso-osmotic laxative such as Osmolax or Movicol.. They are much gentler on us than boosters of fibre or those that cause cramps. At this time, ge...

Re: Sliphills journal

A warm bath - even very warm - may bring blessed relief. While prescribed opiates have their dangers, they are mighty effective in achieving their purpose of pain relief. To address constipation, in my experience iso-osmotic laxatives like Movicol and Osmolax are effective in bulking up and softenin...
