I freeze syringes in advance too. If you want anything close to 50 units, get some 1ml syringes. But regardless, after you fill, take the syringe out of the vial and draw a little bit of air into the syringe, removing the trimix solution out of the needle. Check other posts here. Keeping the vial as cold/frozen as possible will extend the shelf-life. I keep mine in the freezer, thawing it and refreezing it 10 or more times as I load a syringe. I have vials 6 months old still working fine.

Thx. It's the different rules with Medicare drug coverage that is still a mystery. I'm hoping to get some replies from guys on Medicare as to what they pay. I'm still way ahead - moving from paid insurance to Medicare saves me over $12K a year, so few hundred bucks for Trimix is OK
