Thank you both, I feel a lot better now!
Sounds like the implant won't be an issue but I'll definitely make the doctor aware of it.

Catheter Ablation for AFib with Implant?
Guys, anybody here with an IPP who's also had a catheter ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation (AFib)? During the procedure a catheter gets inserted into an artery somewhere in the groin, and I'm concerned the IPP reservoir or tubing could be in the way or get damaged. Just curious if anyone ha...

Re: Implant 9/29/23 - Dr. Eid
Your progress sounds great, I also flew in from CA for my surgery with Eid, no regrets after nearly five years. My post-op appointment was also on a Monday, and after discussion with Dr Eid I elected to leave the catheter in place for the flight home. That was a good decision as I could relax on the...

Re: Medicare Question & Thank You
I have Medicare. It says “Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Net (DHS)” I'm confused about what medical coverage you have, Medicare is not the same as Medi-Cal. Medi-Cal is California's version of Medicaid. Traditional Medicare does cover implants and most doctors will accept it, I went to Dr Eid. I thin...

Re: New patient processes among doctors?
What I'm getting at is the process to get scheduled... I think for instance - and I'm FAR from certain on this, that Dr. Eid has you get a cardiologist approval prior (understandable), but maybe you can only see specific ones he has selected? When I went to Dr Eid in 2017 a pre-approval exam was re...

Re: Inflated twist
I have a twist when fully inflated. Pretty much like my peyronies penis but no where near as bad.. Did this straighten out for anyone with cycling? I had peyronies before the implant, absolutely straight now but a slight axial twist to the left, maybe 15°. It has not improved but is a non-issue, an...

I would also recommend Dr Eid for your situation. He's very precise in getting both cylinders to be the correct length.
Several of us here, including me, have different lengths on left and right so that the tips are exactly even in the glans. I have a 20cm on left side and 21cm on the right.

If you call Dr Eid's office they will email you the "Hotel List" with recommendations and prices.
I stayed at the Bentley which is easy walking distance to the office. That was a good experience and I'd stay there again.

Re: Titan OTR difficult deflation. Need help
My OTR has always required the button to be depressed while deflating. Even if "one touch" allowed the valve to remain open, it would only deflate until the pressure was equalized between reservoir and cylinders, which is probably 50% deflation. So yes, holding the button and squeezing the...

Did you check with Dr Eid?
He had AMS available when I saw him in 2017. If not now, he could likely refer you to other surgeons in the area.
