Re: Loss of sensation
Anyone know if P shot will restore loss of sensation to penile implant patients? P shot (platelet-rich plasma) basically involves stem cell therapy wherein one's blood is withdrawn, components separated in centrifuge, injected back into penis to allow restoration and growth of penis. Supposedly work...

Re: Push for a revision now or wait?
2 weeks is much too early. I am 14 wks post surgery, and the Titan bulb with attached deflate button is also not ideally placed. Originally, it was stuck high/left in the scrotum but over time it generally made its way down to where it should be. It is still unstable and shifts all over the place bu...

Re: Hanging high and to the left?
same thing with me--high and left. Are you saying the unusual reservoir placement may be causing the "high and left"? In my situation, doc has not said much as I experienced significant scrotal edema and hematoma which may have something to do with bulb displacement....don't know at this p...

Re: Inflation bulb
thanks for heads up on warm bath caution...written hospital patient instructions say "no swimming or jacuzzi for two wks," which I read for the first time just the other day, and I remember doc saying no hot tub, but forgot time of prohibition. I've actually been swimming starting one week...

Re: Inflation bulb
warm bath idea sounds like good idea...bulb not stuck to scrotum, but it is not detached or floating around, sort of stuck in one place in upper scrotum.

Re: Inflation bulb
thanks for your input...from my vantage point---I would advise to extend more time to let your problem resolve itself, if possible, like the two other guys...you have enough on your plate at this time...if I get any more insight I will certainly pass it along...good luck

Re: Inflation bulb
why the need to "drag everything out and reposition it " if only the bulb is out of place? I have read somewhere that over time the bulb will find the right spot but if you've been trying for five weeks without results, I'm not so sure anymore. My surgeon mentioned that in a worst case sce...

Inflation bulb
I'm two wks today post coloplast infrapubic implant and doing fairly well: most pain and swelling subsided, can do virtually anything physically, went swimming 45 min today and for several days beforehand. Activation is another month down the line. Dr. says to pull down the bulb which seems to be ne...

Re: surgeon expertise
Thanks for your input. Yes, Dr. Grimaldi has offered access to his prior patients which I have not done yet, but intend to do so. While I appreciate the rave reviews of Drs. Eid, Kramer, Perito, etc., I also believe there are many highly skilled urosurgeons who do not share their professional skills...

His name will be undisclosed for the time being until I complete my due diligence. But the local online medical review says succinctly words to the effect: Most recently, he has completed specialized training to learn the newest techniques in men’s urinary incontinence and minimally invasive surgery...
