Re: Just AMS and Titan?

There are other makers elsewhere in the world, but I believe only those two are certified for use in the U.S. and also considered to be superior to any others. Someone correct me if I am wrong on either count. Keep in mind that both AMS and Coloplast DO make more than the three most commonly implant...

Re: Pseudo-coffin #2

Is "pseudo-coffin" the same as "turtling" (which means -- when flaccid at least -- the glans is pulled inside the shaft skin of a circumcised penis)? No, it is not. Turtling, as I understand it is the outward appearance of the flaccid penis wherein the glans (penis head) is draw...

It this the article being cited?

In July, 2016 I found this article. I recommend anyone interested in this subject to read the full article thoroughly. Most interesting is the high dropout rate (and the reason for it). I also wonder how much pre-op stretching by application of a Vacuum Erection Device (V.E.D) would have reduced the...

Re: Pseudo-coffin #2

[ So... every time the skin is open at all, there is a risk of infection. Infection anywhere in the body can find it's way to the newly implanted device and that area is already compromised... Unfortunately, once infection finds the implant at all, it cannot be stopped and the only way to prevent s...

Re: Pseudo-coffin #2

So, if you leave the reservoir or erectile chambers uninflated for a significant period of time you will have scar tissue develop around the empty vessels, and this will restrict their filling. The idea therefore is to keep cycling between both to prevent this from happening. This is my understandi...

Re: AMS INFORMATION NEEDED

From what I have heard and read (in my research) the Coloplast is preferred for longer implants. The material is inherently stiffer and a bit girthier, both of which give more rigidity. A longer implant benefits from a greater moment of inertia (engineering term describing beam strength or resistanc...

Re: Heat Activated Implant

they should make an app for your cellphone Hackers would have a field day. Imagine all those boners going off simultaneously. Re: Heat Activated Implant

Apparently, with the material and design, it will be a heating current, which will be remote activated. The researchers want to move on to human trials, the doctor behind this, Brian Le, says the regulatory framework is what is causing the delay. Kind of a bummer. Why should it take so long? The or...

Re: Point it up

ALSO

Any scar tissue that forms around the rear tip is best formed around an upward-pointing implant.
