Re: Ohohia's Replacement post and QUESTIONS
Thanks Ohohia ! This is the best, by far, step by step set of directions for injecting that I have seen. The photos are really helpful, especially the one showing actual injecting. Wish I'd had this when I started. My uro was pretty good about explaining things and described when she was doing as sh...

Re: scarring vs rehabilitation
My uro and the info that comes with my medication (EDEX or PGE-1) says no more than 3 injections per week, and 24 hours between them. I've used more, up to 4 or 5 times some weeks, but had not heard or read of a minimum for rehabilitation.

Re: Injection Technique
I use /12" 31 gauge syringe, manually, and have been for over 2 years. I have had no problem beyond temporary (2 weeks) BB, just twice. I would not recommend the auto-inject because to me, the "feel" as I inject is important. If I feel any resistance or pain as i slowly start to push ...

Re: 2nd injection
Glad you have the amount your doctor wants you to try right! i was alarmed at the amount you mentioned in earlier emails. Frank Talk to the rescue, again! I've been injecting for 2 years, with generally good results. Best part is knowing for sure that I will get an erection each time, and that it wi...

Re: What's Your Definition of an Erection?
I use Edex, 10 units on the syringe, whatever that is. My imagination would say the erections I had in my early 20's were perfect examples...hard, thick, long and plenty of elevation! But now I am a bit older so have to be real. Mine elevates enough to stick just short of sticking straight out. It i...

Re: At a loss.
Our stories are quite similar. My ED started in my mid 50's when taking anti depressants (Celexa, an SSRI ). had no problems before that but needed Viagra when my ?ED quickly worsened. That worked well for the year I was on Celexa, but when I stopped the antidepressants, my ED remained. The mix with...

Re: Well I did it! Today
Well then, good for you! If it makes you feel better, then it is worth it. Even if you only get to use it solo, that's a legitimate experience of sexual pleasure, which is a very healthy part of life. As one who uses injections, I can relate to that great feeling of just KNOWING that I can pretty mu...

Re: orgasm
Newbie: just curious since your problem cumming sounded exactly like mine before I tried reducing Edex in injection by a lot. Did you try that? and if so did it help? It did wonders for me. My uro thought it was mainly psychological since I had no erection problems, getting a sound one just about ev...

Re: PGE1 PAINFUL: WILL TRIMIX BE THE SAME?
I have been using PGE-1 (Edex) from a compounding pharmacy in San Diego, recommended by my urologist for almost 2 years with no ill effects. some aching pain only when I "miss aimed" the needle. I started at .20 mcgl which proved to be way more than needed. I had many erections over 4 hour...
