Re: Stubborn Incision

It's been a while, so I don't remember exactly, but I think I was about 3 weeks post op when I had to get re-sutured, and then just a few days after that until it healed completely

Re: Stubborn Incision

My scrotal incision was very slow to close, and I didn't help matters any by scrubbing the scab too vigorously in the shower. I went back to Dr Kramer and he put in a couple of additional stitches, after which it closed right away and healed in 2 or 3 days.

Re: From what I see, Insurance Companies want us to get implants

Let me get back on my soap box here - I've said it a dozen times here, but new readers may not have seen the message. If you find you need an implant, get it as soon as possible. In my case, we were asexual for years due to ED before I finally got the implant, which I kept putting off long after I s...

Re: Tineys gone but....

Unfortunately, most doctors will require that you use injections for awhile before considering an implant. Lots of it makes no sense. Lots of things make no sense. Thank goodness there are some forward thinking doctors out there nowadays, at last! (good luck finding one) When I consulted Dr. Kramer...

Re: Specialist in field

Since you're uninsured, I think most urologists will quote you a price for office visit, exam and consultation if you ask them. Find one you'd like to consult with and give his office a call.

Re: Pain Wimp

If you've been reading this forum you've seen posts about pain at both ends of the spectrum. Many, if not most, including myself report little to no pain and no need for pain meds stronger than Tylenol, but there are a few who have reported being in agony. I guess it depends on the individual, and i...

Re: 9 WEEKS AND COUNTING

Hey Rick, I just remembered I was supposed to suggest some questions you might want to ask Dr. Kramer. Obviously I forgot all about it - I have to chalk it up to advanced age I guess. Best of luck, and here's hoping for a great outcome!

Re: Stendra

I too was wondering. My urologist just gave me a prescription for 200 mg stendra. I was taking 100 mg Viagra. He said the stendra was a little less potent, but worked fully in 30 minutes. the Viagra, he said, took 2 hours to gain full potency (which I did not realize!). So IF your Viagra is not &qu...
