Re: Preventing Fibrosis/Scarring from injections

I just use the luer lock needles, so after withdrawing unscrew it and put a fresh one on. As I said it is probably not necessary.

Re: Preventing Fibrosis/Scarring from injections

I use the BD brand as well, but use 30G 1/2" (I miss way to often with the shorter ones) I also use one needle to withdraw and actually swap it with a new one to inject, it may be irrelevant, but I have heard that even withdrawing can dull the tip. http://www.emanalytical.co.uk/case-studies/hyp...

Left a vial out, still good?

Hi all, left a vial of alprostadil out last night, probably 24hrs before it got back into a fridge.

Is it still safe to use?

Thanks!

Re: needle size difference??

I find with the 5/16 I have to bury it to the hilt and then some to get it in.

I prefer the 1/2", you should feel when it goes past the tunica (some pain for me) then there is no resistance past there. If you are injecting quick you may miss that, but you can always aspirate.

Re: Injection review and a couple questions

Thanks for the advice everyone, really appreciate the advice. Had my first 'missed' injection yesterday. I've ran out of the 31G 5/16" BD 1ml needles, and have switched to the only ones the pharmacy had, which are the same but 0.3ml. While the needle length is the same these ones seem to have a...

Injection review and a couple questions

First off I have to say the injections are great, absolute home run, and can say that anyone on the fence should give it a try. Saying this as a young guy as well. Not ideal for spontaneity compared to pills of course, but honestly not far off as it takes a few mins. I've done 5 injections so far, a...

Re: Injection impact on tinnitus

I would clarify that the scientific/research community appears to acknowledge they are ototoxic somehow, but most GP/Urologists do not.

Re: Injection impact on tinnitus

I believe that PDE5 inhibitors are recognized as ototoxic (not just possibly ototoxic like the million meds that have tinnitus as a possible side effect, but up there with some of the other main classes of drugs that have hearing problems) What isn't known is why exactly. Is it the NO/vasodilation, ...

Interesting research in regards to how the PDE-5 inhibitors could spike tinnitus, and it would appear to be through NO increase, if this is the case L-citrulline would probably spike it too.

Re: Injection impact on tinnitus

Yeah the trick with tinnitus is to just forget about it, easier said then done but even though mine is pretty intense I can already not notice it (until I look for it then it is loud!) Had a trial injection yesterday of monomix, no impact on T of course, but a bit of an ache for a while afterward. N...
