Hi Rsmith - I think I have about the same problem. I was implanted with titan 2 yrs ago, and pump goes flat at compression # 12. Coloplast will give no info. I have an appt with uro in Oct. will post results. See my post under implants, this date.

Pump problem
For the past month, my pump goes flat on the 12th compression (I use both hands), which, of course, means pump malfunction, leak, not enough fluid in tank and/or other problems. It is staying consistent with the 12th compression which puzzles me. I was implanted in June of 2014 with a Titan, by Dr. ...

Re: Am I foolish?
Hi Terry. My situation was similar to most here on the board, however, I am a little older at 83. Have had my implant about 14 months, and only wish I did it many years ago. Dr. Paul Perito of Coral Gables, Fl. did my implant. Very little pain, and no problems at all. Went in with 7" and came o...

Re: Pro's & Con's
Dr. Perito did my procedure about 18 months ago. He is as good as it gets....first class all the way. I had very little pain, and no complications whatever. Dr. P. asked me to send pics via cell phone, and thus saved a lot of expense and travel. He was most accommodating in providing my wife, who is...

I lost no size. went in with 7" and came out with 7". Doctor was Dr. Paul Perito, Miami, Fl. I personally think he is about as good as it gets. Had no problems, and little pain. highly recommend. good luck to you.

Re: Taking the plunge
Very much agree with everyone above. Insurance covered my procedure about 18 months ago, and knowing what I know now, and doing what I can do now, I would have paid it myself if I had too - even if I had to work part time to pay for it. I will turn 84 in a few months, and was 83 when I got the impla...

Re: Don't do it guys.
Hi Jason: Sad to hear you are having such issues, after having gone thru 3 implants. I was implanted about 15 months ago, and my experience is exactly 180 degrees opposite yours. I just turned 83, and this past year, I have enjoyed more sexual pleasure than any year of my life - thanks to this great...

Re: Got an implant when over 70?
Just turned 83. Had mine done 1 year ago. Better than when I was 20. Very little pain, and no problems, Thank God. Would I do it again?? YES, in a heartbeat. Good luck to you.
