Re: pre-filled trimix carry case

Doing a search on this site for "Frio" will get you into posts where guys with injection experience talk about various options for traveling with your loaded syringes.

Re: Trimix strength questions and general questions

If you have not had the learning experience of having a trial injection given by your uro or his/her nurse, you should request it. That way you'll know how it's done properly and you'll be able to relieve any uncertainty about whether you're using proper technique. It's important to get that variabl...

Re: Quadmix

When I have a chance hope to call multiple places and get quote for quadmix Tomas, You may find that some places won't give you a quote unless you provide them with a copy of your prescription. That makes shopping difficult, unless you can persuade your doc to give you a hard copy of your prescript...

Re: Short term tolerance

Is there even a brand other than BD for syringes and needles?? There are a number of other brands. You can see quite a few of them if you search Amazon for "diabetic syringes." My initial injection kit from my uro included one of the other brands. Four years down the road, I've found the ...

Re: Trimix Experiences

One man's experience: Froze my trimix, thawed it out once a week or so, filled 3 or 4 syringes. Refroze the vial but kept the syringes in the fridge, not the freezer. My injection log shows a 10 ml vial lasting as long as five months. My dosage was the same at the end as at the beginning, meaning no...

Re: Quad Mix advantage??

Still find the ring necessary. A recent unsatisfactory session of going without it proved the point.

Re: Quad Mix advantage??

Correction to my earlier post:

The fourth ingredient in Quadmix is atropine. Alprostadil is part of the standard Trimix formula.

Apologies.

Re: Quad Mix advantage??

I moved up to Quadmix from Trimix about 3 months ago, because the Trimix was becoming less effective. I was doing 30 units of Trimix, now doing 9 or 10 of Quadmix. Price of 10 ml of Quadmix is essentially the same as my old price for Trimix, so my cost per dose is way down. Just guessing, but unless...

Re: Twice a Day?

If you do a search on this site for "injection frequency" you'll learn more than you ever wanted to know. Summary: The range of frequency recommended by various urologists varies from no more than once a week to no more than once a day. Despite doctor's orders, a goodly number of FT guys r...
