Re: Surgery scheduled

Larry, It was just a couple days early but I know officially we should follow the doc's instructions. I wonder what the doc's reason for 6 weeks till activation is? That's why I mentioned pre-existing conditions. I wonder if I should question my doc for refusing to install an LGX claiming that any i...

Re: Surgery scheduled

It seems all doctors have different activation and clearance for sex times. I was activated around 2 weeks post-op and cleared for action at 4 weeks. I cheated and started that earlier. I think your body and your partner will give you a clue that you're ready for action. Good luck with your procedur...

Re: Considering implant - What if major difference in flacid vs erect length and girth ?

With AMS CX I'm 1/2" less long than when pumped. I ended up with the same length pumped as pre-op erect.
Flaccid looks definitely like a shower, but seems slightly aroused.
Results may differ with LGX and Titan is probably closer with flaccid and erect.

Re: Billing surprise

I've decided to bite the bullet and go back to my uro. I was going to ditch him and let my GP handle my testosterone and monitor my PSA and prostate. The last time I went to him I got a very overzealous, and quite abrasive nurse practitioner instead of my doc whom I liked. I was going to just reques...

Re: were your tubes preconnected or did surgeon connect them??

Just my opinion, but if the pre-connected tubing is the right length (and I see no reason why it shouldn't be), it's what I'd want. Good luck finding out what my doc used though. It seems to me that pre-connect should always be sufficient if doc inserts the cylinder from an incision it the right pla...

Re: AMS pump problems

I was at the Dr. for my 4 week post operation exam and was given the ok to use my CX. I am having great difficulty with the pump. It deflates easily but is almost impossible to inflate .It will let loose with some stiff resistance for the first squeeze but after that it is hard as a rock. Should I ...

Re: RTE's

Right now, I think I have the "hinge" effect. Maybe I haven't got to the point of inflation to eliminate it, but I doubt it.
I wish I had the 21cm implant and .5cm RTEs.
My doc thinks he's god so I'm sure he will beg to differ.

Re: Needing Advice on my ED situation, 27 years old

I think you have to get an implant. You seem to have exhausted all the alternatives.
It's a big decision but it sounds like time.
