Re: AMS differences
CX tends to be for bigger guys, same as the Titan... Well yes and no. I wish I could say I was apart of that "bigger guy" category, but really... uh, not so. What I do have is massive amounts of scar tissue in the shaft post 2 TURP surgeries and one seriously botch implant surgery. My doc...

Re: Doctor list by state
My second implant doc was Maurice Garcia out of UC San Francisco Medical. The dude rocks! Heck, he even called yesterday out of the blue to see how things were going now that it's been a month since activation. Here is the link to his profile on UCSF's website. http://www.ucsfhealth.org/maurice.garc...

How much did that cost!?!?!
Just home from the hospital having a different surgery and checked the mail. A statement from my insurance DENYING the implant surgery! Thankfully it was only because the hospital submitted the charges twice... I'm assuming because it took my insurance so frigging long to process the first bill from...

Re: Retrograde Ejaculation
I had R. E. before my implant due to post TURP issues. But I was speaking to a friend from FT who was experiencing R. E. issues after his implant and the most obvious conclusion was that when he inflated his implant, the tubes in the penis pressed against the urethra so much, it basically closed it ...

Re: Will Medicare pay for an implant upgrade?
Might also want to say to the doc, that the current one has never been very comfortable and it just seems to be getting worse... gives them a reason to use towards fighting medicare for a new one.
Just a thought.

Just leaving the surgeons office... Man my nuts are sore! LOL He had a bit of trouble getting the pump to decompress the first time. But some fussing around with the release valve and I heard the "pop" of the first squeeze of the pump. As I assumed he put in the AMS that does not expand in...

Re: Check list of questions
Now that was some time ago, and here I am trying not to scratch that itchy stitches of my 2nd implant! I think a few things I would add to that list... feel like you have some sort of connection to the doc. Nothing worse than a surgeon who is just trying to rush you through the process/surgery. And ...

Re: Scheduled for October - wife worried
For better or worse, I've had over a dozen various surgeries the past few years. Everything from a 90 minute foot surgery to a 15 hour brain surgery... to the most recent 5 hour implant surgery. How your body reacts (at least short term) to the anesthesia has a lot to do with your current state of h...

Rocking doc!
Gotta love a doc that sends YOU text messages checking to see how your recovery is going, wants pics to check on incisions and says he'll rearrange his schedule to "see you anytime" if I feel like I need to come in.
A great way to start the day!
