Re: How is the erection quality with a ved

I would disagree; when pumped up hard with 2 tight rings I was absolutely rigid with veins standing out and bigger girth than pills, injections and now an implant give me. There were many disadvantages to using a VED (spontaneity, duration, cold penis,, having to stop to pump up, having to remove ri...

Re: Inconsistent with my injections

Given your girth, I would have thought 30g 1/2 inch syringes would be needed. When I was using injections I started using 5/16 syringes but found 1/2 inch much more reliable to ensure the needle was in the cavernosa. My girth is about an inch less than you. My other advice would be to insert the nee...

Re: Any theories as to why some implants take way more pumps than others ?

To clarify Merrix, I meant a total of 25 cc. I understand that the AMS MS pump theoretically delivers 2 cc each full squeeze. Probably a bit less in practice since when pumping it is difficult to get it completely flat. My experience appears to be similar to triewis35 who also has an AMS CX, albeit ...

Re: Any theories as to why some implants take way more pumps than others ?

I realise that my AMS CX is small, only 15 cm (4cm RTE) but after 18 months I can only get 15 full wall to wall pumps before the pump is too hard to depress any more. After a few minutes I can sometimes get one or two more partial pumps. When the cylinders are fully deflated they are not flat so whe...

There is an alternative called Separatec. Seem to be identical design. I found the cotton/lycra variety the most comfortable. Both available on Amazon.

Re: How Far Into Glands Do Your Cylinders Go? Anyone Able to Share?

Despite having an AMS 700 CX which does not expand in length the tips of my implant are at the top Corona level of the glans when deflated, but when inflated they are 3/4 of the way into the glans. A perfect result which means that the head is firm and not floppy and this makes insertion easy - just...

Re: Titan to CX expectations

My CX ( 15 + 4 ) gives me 51/4 inch of girth. I also get an increase of at least 1 inch in length when inflated. When deflated the tips are at the base of my glans. When inflated they are perfectly placed 3/4 of the way into my glans so that I have no problem with floppy head. So it appears that the...

Re: Update on implant operation

I did not have any of the problems you have had. After seeing the consultant at Northampton Hospital and having the usual examination and blood tests, I was referred to Leicester General ( Northampton do not do implants ). There I saw Mr Summerton. He examined me, told me that I was a suitable candi...

Re: Bruising - how long

I had almost no bruising ( or pain just discomfort ) which may be because my surgeon inserted a drain in my scrotum for 48 hours post surgery. I spent 2 nights in hospital because he wanted to ensure that the draining had almost stopped. Operation under UK NHS so no urgency to discharge me until sur...
