Re: Trimix in uk

Nobody on this forum has ever succeeded in finding a source of Trimix in Europe.

Re: Max girth with 18cm x 12mm

As far as I recall, When cleared for use at the 5 week point after implantation my girth was more or less back to normal or perhaps1/4 inch less. Despite regular cycling it has never increased beyond my pre-implant size. Is that because I am at the limit of the AMS CX cylinder inflated size or have ...

Re: Max girth with 18cm x 12mm

I have 5.25 inches which is exactly the same as when injections worked properly. interestingly 5 years of injections (Caverject) gradually increased my girth from about 4.75 to 5.25.

-Length Rigidity and Hardness Worries

I am a long term member of this forum and have noted that many people considering an implant are concerned that their erection will not be hard enough or rigid enough for satisfactory intercourse despite the many posts which confirm that this is not a problem. Certainly my experience is that this is...

Re: Long term success??

Not true that only 10 and 20 mcg is available in Europe. In UK, CAVERJECT is available in 40 mcg as is VIRIDAL (brand name for EDEX). Used CAVERJECT 40mcg (24 to 26 mcg each injection) for 5 years. When CAVERJECT was in short supply prescribed VIRIDAL which is identical drug (ALPROSTADIL / PGE1).

Re: Caverject not available

In the UK the brand Edex is marketed using the name VIRIDAL When I was injecting, Caverject was often not available but Viridal was. Exactly the same drug.

Re: Trimix compared to muse

Edex and Cavererject are just PGE1 (Alprostadil) whereas Trimiix also contains Phentolamine and Papaverine. It is generally accepted that PGE1 by itself is much less likely to cause scar formation. However some experience pain from PGE1. I was lucky and did not. I tried Muse but never found it to be...

Re: Sepratec wear

I prefer cotton with lycra boxer briefs. Very comfortable and have kept their shape after multiple ( not too hot) washing machine washes.

Although his implant took place several years ago, Rugby Dave gave a very detailed account of his LGX implant carried out by Mr Ralph. See http://rugbydave.blogspot.com/

Re: Trimix components and pain with Alprostadil

You might find this study of interest https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16422961/. In South Africa Chlorpromazine is used as a substitute for Phentolamine ( which is not available ) rather than as an alternative to Alprostadil.
